Grupo Unicomer, a multi-Latin leader in retail and financial services in 26 countries, with commercial brands such as La Curacao, Radioshack, Gollo, Courts, Artefacta, Tropigas, Servitech among others, was facing challenges to manage its Oracle environments (Database, Weblogic and Forms and Reports) on-premises. The business strategy suggested another form of scalability and agility to meet growing business demands.

In response to these challenges, Unicomer made the strategic decision to implement Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for its operations, in collaboration with its strategic partners, Oracle and SITES. This choice underscores Unicomer's desire to leverage OCI's capabilities to optimize the management and performance of its Oracle applications in an advanced cloud environment.

The migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure has provided Grupo Unicomer with the scalability needed to adapt to fluctuations in business demands, as well as bringing agility to its operations, enabling rapid response to market changes and accelerating the deployment of new solutions. The partnership with Oracle and SITES highlighted the importance of having specialized strategic partners, thus ensuring a successful transition and support in this technological transformation process.
